背景

IKZF3 is a hemopoietic zinc finger DNA-binding protein that acts as a central regulator of lymphoid differentiation and is implicated in leukemogenesis. IKZF3 may form homodimers or heterodimers and is known to interact with IKZF4 and IKZF5. A well known transcription factor, IKZF3, plays an important role in the regulation of B lymphocyte proliferation and differentiation and participates in chromatin remodeling. IKZF3 plays a role in the control of T cell death by regulating the expression of BCL2 in acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
